Did you meet the purpose of the lab, yes or no. If no, why not?
0.2.0.0 – Prelab Write-Up/Lab Reports (Read/Watch)
In order to make sure everyone is ready to perform the week’s experiment(s) safely, a prelab write up including answering the prelab questions and prelab quiz will be required for each lab.
There will be a module on Canvas for each experiment. Each module will open on Sunday and will be available until the next Sunday. In that module will be a video covering that experiment. After watching the video, the next section containing the experiment will open. After reading the experiment, you will then need to submit a prelab write up. The prelab write up consist of the following information: title of the experiment, purpose of the experiment, a summary of the procedures, a listing of all possible safety/hazards and answering the prelab questions. After the prelab is submitted, the prelab quiz will then be available to complete on Canvas for each experiment. You will then be able to do the experiment using the lab kit for Carolina Biological.
Below is an example of a prelab write-up.

After you have completed the lab, you will need to submit a lab report. The submission for a lab report includes the data sheets used in the lab, any pictures the lab required you to take (which can be embedded into the data sheets), answer any post lab questions, and then a final discussion/conclusions. In your final discussion, you will go back to the purpose of the lab and answer the following questions with details: Did you meet the purpose of the lab, yes or no. If no, why not? Do your results make sense, yes or no. If no, why not? A final discussion is not a retelling of the lab procedures, it is a summary of the finding and results.
